The climate creates four distinct periods of cultivation, each of them with unique characteristics.
The plants are plucked by hand every five to ten days, most typically of their top two leaves and a bud,however, based on the growing conditions and desired product just the bud or the bud and top leaf may sometimes be plucked.
The first pluckings in Spring, generally March to May are reffered as the first Flush-the only one not tear,crush or curl.
The first leaves following the winter dormancy are the most tender leaves the plant will produce and result in a tea that has a gentle, very light colour and aroma,and a mild astringency(or briskness).

1. Where do you deliver?
We deliver our coffee and tea products across the UK, directly to your door from our base in Gillingham, Kent. All orders are shipped via trusted couriers (Evri and DPD) with tracking provided.
2. How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery typically takes 2–5 business days after dispatch, but some orders may take longer depending on stock and courier performance. You’ll receive tracking details once your order is shipped. If there are any delays, we’ll keep you updated.
3.Can I manage or cancel my order or subscription?

4. What if my order is damaged or incorrect?
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us at hello@ukbohocafe.com within 48 hours with your order number and photos if possible. We’ll resolve the issue promptly with a replacement or refund.
